Il fut cr\u00e9\u00e9 en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 l\u2019exclusion qui frappait les populations d\u00e9favoris\u00e9es de Kingston (Jama\u00efque), autant dans leurs acc\u00e8s aux salles de bal que dans la diffusion de leur musique \u00e0 la radio. Cette installation rend hommage \u00e0 l\u2019un de ses pionniers, le Sino-Jama\u00efcain Thomas Wong. Le syst\u00e8me sonore mobile de Wong \u00ab Tom the great Sebastian\u00bb est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme l\u2019anc\u00eatre des nos sound systems actuels, qui aujourd\u2019hui encore, continuent de r\u00e9sister au syst\u00e8me. D\u2019une certaine mani\u00e8re, il est le p\u00e8re de nos f\u00eates impromptues en plein air, leurs boombox et autres enceintes bluetooth. L\u2019installation, \u2018Pa ka tann ?!, donne \u00e0 voir et \u00e0 entendre la contribution de la Cara\u00efbe au monde. Elle recense les principales musiques carib\u00e9ennes et diffuse des playlists refl\u00e9tant les go\u00fbts musicaux des artistes du festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conte de
